REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY
This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the terms under which KNSL provides refunds, cancellations, and changes for passenger tickets and cargo bookings.
By making a booking with KNSL, you agree to this policy.
Passenger Ticket Cancellation
- Cancellation by Customer
- Cancellations made 72 hours or more before departure: Eligible for up to 75% refund
- Cancellations made 48-72 hours before departure: Eligible for up to 50% refund
- Cancellations made less than 48 hours before departure: No refund
- No-Show Policy
Passengers who fail to board without prior notice will not be eligible for a refund.
Rescheduling (Passenger Bookings)
- Passengers may request to change travel dates at least 48 hours before departure
- Changes are subject to:
- Seat availability
- Possible fare differences
Cargo Booking Cancellation
- Cancellation by Customer
- Before cargo is loaded: Eligible for partial refund (up to 70%)
- After cargo is loaded: No refund
- Incorrect Information
KNSL is not responsible for errors in cargo details provided by the customer. Corrections may incur additional charges.
Refund Processing
- Refunds will be processed within 7–14 business days
- Refunds will be issued using the original payment method, where possible
- Service fees and transaction charges may be non-refundable
Cancellation by KNSL
KNSL reserves the right to cancel or reschedule voyages due to:
- Weather conditions
- Mechanical issues
- Safety concerns
- Government restrictions
In such cases, customers may choose:
- Full refund, or
- Rescheduling at no additional cost
Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be provided in the following cases:
- Late arrival or missed boarding
- Incorrect booking information provided by customer
- Violation of KNSL policies
Special Cases
Exceptions may be considered for:
- Medical emergencies (with proof)
- Death of immediate family member
Such cases are reviewed individually by KNSL management.
